Do you have the competencies to transform organizations? Is your leadership style transformational or transactional? What level of leadership have you reached?

Attracting and retaining staff has always been the main challenges for organizations big and small. More often than never, remuneration has always been used as an incentive to retain staff.

However, we all know that this is only providing a 'band aid' to the problem and not solving the root problem or cause. What is this root cause that has been so elusive that even the biggest multinational management cannot pin point on?

In a survey conducted on members of PIKOM on this theme by Mr. Michael Lum in 2003, it was not surprising to discover that remuneration is certainly not the key factor but what realy matters is the style of leadership or management.

In this half day seminar we would like to explore further this finding and invite captains of industry to discuss and debate on this topic.

We also want to find out whether different people react differently leaderships and styles. Is there any common characteristic in these Leaderships.

Focus in this seminar is to address the pertinent issues in Malaysia with regards to human capital in the knowledge-economy especially in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry.

For more information and registration please communicate with alicia@pikom.org.my  or call Alicia/Ms Loh Wan Ping at 03-79552922.
